American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD) USA
aapd-logoThe AAPD Interfaith Initiative seeks to “support people with disabilities and their families as they seek spiritual and religious access, and to bring the powerful and prophetic voice of the faith community to the 21st Century disability agenda.” AAPD also sponsors the Interfaith Disability Advocacy Coalition (IDAC) to mobilize the religious community to speak out and take action on disability policy issues at the national level.

AAIDDThe leading American professional organization working to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities has a Religion & Spirituality Division which works to foster opportunities for spiritual growth for person with disabilities.

Collaborative on Faith and Disability
Collaborative on Faith & DisabilitiesA project of University Centers for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDDs) and partners, the mission of the Collaborative on Faith and Disability is to support people with disabilities, their families, and those who support them by providing national and international leadership in the areas of research, education, service, and dissemination related to disability, religion, and inclusive supports.
